Freeform switch technology

The SOFTswitch™ team, always keen to please designers, have further developed a system using specially engineered SOFTswitch™ yarns, to rethink the conventional linear five-button keypad design.  Our Freeform switch opens up the possibility of designing a variety of keypad shapes and button positions - circular, oval, triangular, offset - the possibilities are only limited by the imagination.  By utilising the Freeform switch design approach and assembly techniques, the true benefits of a textile switch become apparent, by comparison to outdated mechanical switching technologies.
